The following day heading out to sea
Recently Neville (Toni's brother and my good friend from Navy days), had his Command parade. Meaning he took over as Captain of the SA Navy submarine 'Queen Modjadji I'. For a sea-going navy officer, that is what one strives for one day and we are all very happy and proud of Neville for getting this far. It is surely a time that he will remember for the rest of his life!
With Neville's dad also having been a submarine Captain in the 1980's, it was a special moment for him to see Neville take command. Although i would have really wanted to be there, i'm unfortunately at sea off Holland, but i received some great photos which i've posted here.
